Disco Cowgirl Looks For 4 Days In Nashville
Glitter queen? Rainbow genie? Sparkle diva? THAT'S ME!
Howdy y’all! I’m posting from the sky — 30,000 feet to be exact! — as I fly out of Nashville.
This was my first trip there, and I was super excited, because I’d heard it was a pink paradise (true!), and I have a North Node line running right through it. Okay, okay, I was excited for other reasons too: we were graduating a new class of Gala Darling Method, and we were staying at the Graduate hotel, which is Dolly Parton themed!
So to celebrate all this jubilation, I’ve decided to make my triumphant return to fashion blogging (!!!), and share with you a compendium of my outfits during the time I was there. I was pumped, I had a vision, and I feel that it was executed flawlessly!
So, without any further ado…
Saturday: Ranch Hands Cowboylesque & dinner at Love Language.
This is what I wore to our team outing — which, for the record, was a shirtless cowboy show, because yes I like to treat my girls to half-naked men whenever possible. (It was WILD and RAUCOUS, y’all! “Loose” isn’t even the half of it!)
I wore this sequin set from Michael Costello x Revolve which I bought 2 years ago, and lucite wedges which you will see in many, many other photos in this post! The lucite wedges are from Amazon, they’re insanely comfortable, they clock in under $60, and my favorite thing is that they go with everything. They’re the perfect traveling shoe!
Sunday: Adventuring around Nashy!
On Sunday morning, Madeline and I took approximately a million photos in my room, the 9 to 5 Suite, which was outfitted with bodacious neon, pink lightbulbs, and a waterbed. So much fun! Then I got changed, lead High Vibe Honey — the theme was “be your own daddy” — and met up with Courtney and Kimi to explore Broadway and have lunch. One of the highlights of the trip was when we stumbled upon DOUG E FRESH performing in the middle of the street!
For this petite adventure, I wore a baby pink Playboy baby tee, a lilac skort (yes, skort!) from Zara, Puma sneakers, and a pink cowboy hat from Target. Yeehaw bitches! A pair of cowboy boots really would have been cute with this but… My luggage was already overweight, you know what I mean?!
Sunday: GDM+ dinner at White Limozeen. For our first official event, a joyful dinner with our GDM+ babes (these are our past graduates in our continuing program), I wore this Jonathan Simkhai set which is beyond. BEYOND!!! It makes the funniest noises when you shimmy in it. Plus those damn lucite heels again. I’m telling you, they do the trick! On this trip, I brought lucite heels, over the knee crystal boots, and two pairs of sneakers. That’s all a girl really needs!
Monday: GDM welcome cocktails at the Atrium.
I wanted to go BIG since this was our welcome event for our brand new graduates! I wore this Alaïa set (from Fwrd), plus Steve Madden sparkle boots and a bedazzled cowboy hat I bought off Etsy many moons ago! This was my favorite look, and my girl Taylor Jazz killed it on the hair and makeup, with lilac details and crystals honey!
Tuesday: GDM teaching day. This was my biggest day, and I wanted to wear something comfortable because I knew I’d be standing and talking for many hours. I wore a teeny-tiny lil’ shirt and low-rise pants, both by Versace, my Target cowboy hat, and those wonderful lucite heels again! (The air conditioning was absolutely cranking in that room though, so I eventually wriggled into my fuzzy neon pink Jacquemus sweater.)
Tuesday: GDM graduation dinner at Layer Cake. My final look — with a very pastel sorbet vibe. This insane rainbow “I dream of Jeannie” look is also by Michael Costello x Revolve (truly, look up their collaborations for really show-stopping looks!). Plus, lucite heels. Of course!!!
Then, I poured myself into bed so I could get a full night’s sleep before flying to Denver, which is where I’m heading right now. It’s going to be a definite change of pace, and I’m glad my suitcase contains two pairs of sneakers and some chill workout clothes!
I hope you enjoyed this little exploration of my outfits… I’ve missed doing this! What was your favorite look? And do you want to see more of them in the future?!
xo,
Pink Versace cowgirl & the Simkhai set are my favs! ✨✨✨
I love this post so much because I absolutely LOVE your vibe and fashion (as always) so doing a post featuring it makes my heart fill with GLEE ^-^ <3. You are simply GLOWING in these photos, freakin' GLAM SUPERSTAR!!! ✨✨✨ The ones that stood out immediately to me was that first Sunday photo of you on the bed with the skirt - that needs to be in a magazine STAT girl! 💗 (Also your hair and outfit in the mirror selfie?!!?
